PHP’s mission is to end hunger in Hernando County by breaking the cycle of poverty among the people served. Besides providing food, PHP will link people to benefits, education, training and resources empowering them to help themselves to become productive members of Hernando County.

People Helping People
For 2024 we helped by donating over $2000.00 to
People Helping People.
We currently are collecting donations for
The Summer Kids Snack Food Program and their Backpack and School Supply Drive
Jenks Ranch and Rescue is a non-profit rescue devoted to taking in abandoned, unwanted, abused, and neglected large animals. Giving the individual animal the veterinary, supportive, and loving care they need to prepare them for a future loving and caring home.
Additionally, we assist with the prevention of future abandoned and abused animals by educating pet owners and future generations how to respect, conserve, care, and protect animals and the environment they live in.
Jenks Ranch and Rescue focuses its efforts throughout the state of Florida with Networking other Rescues within the entire United States.

Our 2023 Toy Drive, was a huge success and brought over $3,500 in toys and cash donations!
Coats for Kids & The Special Olympics
We also partner with The Knights of Columbus and raised $500.00, for Coats for Kids 2023!
And in 2024 we raised $700.00 for
The Special Olympics Pasco County
Shriners Burn Camp & The Lonestar Foundation
We collected $700 for Shriners Burn Camp
We also gave $500, to The Lonestar Foundation
Operation Kindness
We donated $2500 in supplies and monetary donations, to care for the animals, at
Hernando County Animal Services.
Senior Center Hernando
We donated $2500 in supplies and monetary donations to the
Senior Center Hernando
HeadStart Hernando
We raised $1250.00 in cash and school supplies,
from our members.
Entirety K12 School for Autism
With the help of the Aero Modelers of Hernando,
we raised $1200.00 for the school.
